The ownership issues that threatened to delay the opening of the $300 million Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana have been resolved and the Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) has lifted its hold on completing the land-based Gary gaming facility. He negotiated the sale of his shares in the casino, which was put on hold by the commission in December, to Hard Rock International. Former Spectacle Entertainment CEO Rod Ratcliff and the Indiana Gaming Commission reached a settlement less than two months after he sued the state agency for suspending his gaming license.
